The King Shield was the way to bring up a list of options every cat needed.
Usually:
TURN ROUND (sometimes GO BACK instead)
CAT STATS
CAT CALL
CANCEL
but it was an inconspicuous place to put any appropriate menu item that didn't make sense to have be a hotspot (a clickable RIP area that resulted in some action) on screen.
